Our 63 brix Blood Red Orange concentrate is not an extract, but a pure juice concentrate, made from 100% pure fruit juice. This variety of blood orange fruit yields a ‘very red’ juice. Only the water is evaporated, leaving behind pure juice. It is all natural, no added sugar, no preservative or other additives. The average single strength is 11.8 brix. The approximate dilution rate is 1:5.3, yielding roughly 1.5+ gallons of single strength juice per quart. This concentrate is available in quarts, 1.5 gal, 3 gallon, 4 gallon, and 52 gallon drums. Blood Red Orange is a popular craft beer ingredient, and is perfect for brewers and vintners. It could be a great ingredient for mead, spirits, hard cider, jelly, flavoring meat or other products, or to make an all natural drink (or add flavor to a current drink).
