Our prickly pear, also known as ‘Cactus Fruit’, 36 brix concentrate is a 100% pure concentrate, it is not an extract. It is made from 100% pure fruit juice, only the water is evaporated. It is all natural, no added sugar, no preservative or other additives. It is deep red to purple in color. The average single strength is about 12 brix. The approximate dilution rate is 1:2.3, yielding about 3+ quarts of single strength juice per quart. This concentrate is available in quarts, 1.5 gallon, 3 gallon, 4 gallon, and 52 gallon drums. This is the perfect ingredient for beer, wine, mead, spirits, hard cider, jelly, flavoring meat or other products, or to make an all natural drink (or add flavor to a current drink).
